I have a windows mobile 6 running on Dopod c730 aka cavalier or S630. I’m using cingular as my service provider.

To set up your MMS on Mobile 6, follow the instructions below:

Start | Messaging | MMS | Menu | Tools | Options |

Account Settings | Menu | MMSC Settings |

When you are in MMSC settings | select Menu | create New |

Name: ATT MMS (Anything you want it)

MMSC URL: Http://mmsc.cingular.com

WAP gateway: wireless.cingular.com

Port: 80

Connect via: The Internet

Max. sending size: 300K

Wap Version: 2.0

Instructions how to host your own video files(FLV only) in your wordpress:

1. Download Flv Player from JW FLV Player credit to Jeroen Wijering
2. Unzip the file but only upload the flvplayer.swf to an accessible directory on the server(e.g, /public_html/yobosensei/blog/flvplayer.swf)

3. Download WP-FLV Plugin for flv player. Rename the file from wp-flv.php.txt to wp-flv.php.

4. Login to your wordpress plugins and activate WP-FLV plugin.

5. For the plugin to work, it must show where to find the flvplayer.swf file.

Go to Options menu, choose WP-FLV submenu.
i) URL to flvplayer.swf : www/domainname.com/blog/flvplayer.swf
ii)Optional: Use Quicktag FLV: yes
iii)Default URL to video: www/domainname.com/blog/videos/
*Create a video folder in your directory

6. Create a new post, go to

CODE>FLV>Enter URL to Video>Width>Video AutoStart>Done; or

Type this in CODE <flv href=”http://www.yourdomain.com/blog/movie.flv” autostart=”true” />

I have been using Fring on my smartphone to replace the skype mobile voice-function. What is Fring? Fring allows you to make mobile calls, live chats over 3G or wifi network for free on my mobile device. If you read my previous post, I mentioned that Skype on dopod c730 still doesn’t support voice call. It only allows chat-capability. Well, Fring has resolved this issue. Fring allows you to make calls on skype, msn instant messenger, icq chat, and twitter at the same time. However using skype, you still need to pay for skype credits to make calls. If you’re using msn for voice chat, you dont need to pay for voice service. It took me less than 5 sec to sign-up Fring . Fring will send you an email to download the cab file. After you installed Fring, you simple need to set up an account to login. It will take few sec to load but after you have logged in, everything works perfectly. The Fring interface merges all contacts in 1 contact list. It’s very easy to scroll. Display and font are very easy to view. My only wish is to discover Fring sooner before I went on my vacation but now it’s still not too late!
