I always come across people misused the meaning of these LOLCODE.  Here it how they should work:

lolcat or lolcats (laugh out loud cats)
-arrives from making cute cat photos and paste them with humorous san sarif font captions
-e.g. if u luv to lolcat, u can be wan 2! e.g. Nicholas hates iz when i lolcat him on twitter.

pwned -(attacked)
e.g. My yahoo email got pwned by spams. Work harder @yahoo spam blocker!!!

ktnxbai or ktnxbye (okay, thank, bye)
-quick way of saying okay, thank u, goodbye. Used mostly on Texting, SMSing, or twittering.
eg. @johnsmith how do you explain google Android? reply. ktnxbai.

w00t
-originally means “we owned other team.”
-now it means overly joyful
eg. I just got a new iphone, w00t!

I received this message when I logged in to friendster. My first thought: Isn’t it a little too late to invite people to your network? Almost everyone that reluctant to move to myspace has already migrated to facebook. Sorry friendster, you just don’t understand what social networking means.

I created this using ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS3. Mainly, in blending mode Bevel and Embross and dodge and burn tools.

Facebook ads have been popping up. I don’t usually take notes but this particular ad “Need Romance?” looks so darn cute. Not that I need romance. I just thought the design is very adorable. However, when you click on the client’s site their front page doesn’t look very attractive. I mean they are not strategically implemented. The avatars look rather disturbing and they don’t move. The page layout is very web 1.0. I’d suggest no rectangular but more rounded rectangular layout, less contents on the main page(just a login and password and free account will get your customers in the door), and color scheme is just plain blunt. I wonder who creates the ads on facebook. Facebook or their client? Nonetheless, I do think their ads are very creative and easy to read. But as for their client’s website, they should hire me to design for them!!!
